Testimonials

“ This is critical information for an actor as we need to be aware of where we are in the frame and the effects of the lighting on our performance.
Part of acting craft is to be able to collaborate with the DP to create images that evoke an emotional response from our audience.
Knowing what the DP intends and  communicating in the language and context of a DP makes me a stronger partner on the set and allows me to use my craft to full advantage within the frame of the camera.
Some of the things Rob teaches in his latest video for actors provides information that veteran actors learn over many years. I am an older actor developing my career late in the game, I don’t have time to learn slowly.
What Rob teaches allows me to collapse my learning time and get ahead.”

“Rob Draper is an actor's best friend. You know how your best friend holds you up, makes you look good when you are bad, supports and enhances your greatness, understands you and your environment and encourages you to be the best you can be. Rob has done that for decades with the actors he lights and shoots.
In his new course Rob pulls back the curtain on how he collaborates with the director and actors telling creative, beautiful and meaningful stories through his lighting and camera techniques.
As an Actor possessing a working and creative knowledge of this process is an incredibly valuable, really indispensable asset to have. Understanding the "big picture" beyond your command of performance will allow you to tell your story in the best possible way.”
